Brian Wilson could be saiid to have started his musical career during his childhood. His father, also a musician, encouraged his song greatly in music, from singing solos in the church, and giving him a toy accordian and teaching the supposedly sleeping brothers how to sing in harmony. While his parents went away, he used their emergency money to hire out musical equipment and formed a band with his younger siblings. His parents were initially furious – that is until they heard the band! Wilson’s father took him immediately to record under “Candix Records,” and the song “Surfin,” charted on the Billboard 200, launching Brian Wilson’s career.

The Beach Boys released their 11th album “Pet Sounds,” in 1996, and the album peaked at number 2 on the UK Top 40 Albums Chart and stayed in the top 10 for an incredible 6 months!! Created a year after Brian Wilson had stopped touring with the Pet Shop Boys and written, arranged and produced almost entirely by him, to the extent that it is often considered a solo work, “Pet Sounds,” is now considered one of the greatest albums of all time.
