Celtic Woman at Paramount Theatre Seattle

Multi-platinum Irish performance collective Celtic Woman was formed in 2005 and currently consists of vocalists Mairéad Carlin, Éabha McMahon and Megan Walsh, and vocalist, harpist and violinist Tara McNeill. To date, Celtic Woman has released 21 albums, including several live, compilation and Christmas albums. Over the years, original four women who first joined the group moved on to other things, and none of the group's founding members are in Celtic Woman. Live, the performers create a theatrical stage show with the backing of “a robust ensemble that includes Irish dancers, bagpipers and a full band playing an array of traditional Celtic instruments, including bodhran, tin whistle, bouzouki and Uileann pipes.” Over the years, Celtic Woman has been named Billboard's number World Music Artist of the Year six times and each of its 11 studio albums have debuted at number one on Billboard's World Album chart.
