Courtney Barnett at Paramount Theatre Seattle

First finding success in 2012 with I've Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris, her self-released debut EP, Courtney Barnett is an Australian singer-songwriter and founder of Milk! Records. Barnett began to attract worldwide attention the following year when she re-released her debut alongside another EP, How To Carve A Carrot Into a Rose, as a package titled The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas. The double EP was critically acclaimed by Q Magazine, Pitchfork and Stereogum. Her debut album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, was released in 2015 and was another critical success, leading to eight nominations at the 2015 Aria Music Awards, of which she took home four. She also earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards and for International Female Solo Artist at the 2016 Brit Awards. In 2017, Barnett collaborated with American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer Kurt Vile on an album called Lotta See Lice. Her second studio album, Tell Me How You Really Feel, was released on 18 May 2018, and was preceded by the singles "Nameless, Faceless", "Need a Little Time" and “Sunday Roast”.
