Formed by Josh Kiszka, Sam Kiszka, and Jake Kiszka, and Kyle Hauck (later replaced by Danny Wagner) in 2012, the band swiftly started recording and releasing songs, with one of their singles becoming featured on a Chevy Equinox advertisement in the Detroit area. Later, their song “Highway Tune,” was featured on the Showtime show Shameless, later released on iTunes and in 2017, the band were named new artist of the week by Apple Music.

The band have released two EPS, and are currently in the final stages of completing their first full-length release. The new album will be produced by Al Sutton and Marlon Young, who produced the band’s “Black Smoke Rising” and “From the Fires” EPs. “We’re in the mixing process, so it’s going to be quite soon,” enthused guitarist Jake Kiszka. “We’re wrapping it up, so we’re hoping to release that absolutely this year.”
