As a part of their ‘Pop’ season for 2023 the Seattle Pops Orchestra are thrilled to be presenting a celebratory concert for the music of John Williams. The repertoire for the one evening concert will astound everyone single person present, and showcase the power, skill and passion the 66-piece orchestra has, and how music can truly inspire. Jack Klitzman, founder and producer of the Seattle Pops Orchestra, as well as saxophone master, aspired to create a foundation that created opportunities for Seattle based musicians to work but also inspire, celebrate and unite people through music. The music for the evening will be from the renowned composer, John Williams, who has created unique, instantly recognizable and emotionally dextrous works, from Star Wars, Jaws, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park, to name just a few. Williams’ career has spanned decades and has repeatedly proven his mastery of music. Conducting the concert is Wesley Schulz, known for his spirited and heartfelt dedication as a conductor and respected roles and experience as Assistant Conductor of the Britt Festival Orchestra and Music Director and Conductor of the Auburn Symphony Orchestra.
