Skinny Puppy at Paramount Theatre Seattle

Skinny Puppy formed in 1982 and were one of the founding bands in the industrial rock and electro-industrial music genres, bringing a dark, gloomy, heavy attitude to rock music along with a sharp edge of industrial sounds, with some of their tracks, such as ‘Worlock’, becoming hugely influential to other musicians, bands and fans. On their official Instagram account, Skinny Puppy made the announcement of their farewell tour, starting the post with, ‘Withered bE this rope that smoothers any hope and banG.. it’s been 40 years..!’, and what a way to end the musical reign of the group, with a return to touring after an eight year absence, but to also make it their last ever live tour as a group. Joining them on tour will be Lead Into Gold, headed by Paul Barker. The tour will hold some of the best shows the group has to offer with their heavy sounds and strong attitude, but on the 9th of May at the Paramount Theatre it will be the finale show to their last tour and promises to be an unforgettable ending concert.
