Earlier in the year, The Front Bottoms celebrated the tenth anniversary of their 2013 effort Talon of the Hawk, with a brief spring tour. The outing highlights their breakthrough album, which was their first record to enter the Billboard charts. Talon of the Hawk peaked at number 181 on the Billboard 200 and number 30 and 47 on the Top Independent Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. The album spawned the band’s most popular hits, “Twin Size Mattress” and “Lone Star.” Both songs have clocked in over 100 million views across streaming platforms.

During the tour, The Front Bottoms, accompanied by their current touring members: bassist Natalie Newbold, and guitarists AJ Peacox, and Erik Kase Romero, performed the album in its entirety. The highly-anticipated tour featured performances from special guest AJJ.

After the band’s incredible breakthrough in 2013, they continued to perform phenomenally on the charts. In 2015, they released Back on Top. This was their first record to be released after signing with the music label Fueled By Ramen. The album soared to number 32 on the Billboard 200 and number 6 and 10 on Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. As their major label debut, the album was praised by critics for maintaining The Front Bottoms’ authentic sound.

In 2017, the band came out with Going Grey, which also performed impressively on the charts. The album was their second record to enter the Billboard 200’s Top 50. Meanwhile, the album was a phenomenal contender on the Top Alternative and Top Rock albums, peaking at numbers 6 and 8.

This 2023, the band’s set to release their upcoming album, You Are Who You Hang Out With. The Front Bottoms recently released their newest music video for “Outlook.” The video is consistent with the band’s homemade video-style music video. This time, the credits include Dadfilmedit for editing and direction and Jay Cruz for executive production.
