Go West is a 1925 film written, directed, and produced by Buster Keaton with Jeff Neal and Joseph Schenk. The film features Friendless (Keaton), who sells the last of his possessions, including a photo of his mother, to buy sausage and bread. He travels to the West Coast to try and make a fortune. Initially living in New York, Friendless has not been so lucky in making a living in the big city. Now, he finds many opportunities in the west and leads a herd of cattle. Friendless forms a special bond with a neglected cow called Brown Eyes. Brown Eyes was initially set for slaughter, but Friendless took the cow under his wing after Brown Eyes saved him from a bullfight. At night, friendless gives his blanket to Brown Eyes and even protects her from wild dogs.

Although Friendless has built a great friendship with Brown Eyes, many challenges arise as the ranch owner starts selling the cows to the stockyard. Moreover, Brown Eyes is scheduled to go to the slaughterhouse, and the ranch owner fires Friendless. Can Friendless save his friend from her impending doom?
