Les Miserables at Paramount Theatre Seattle

More than 40 years ago, history was being made when Claude-Michel Schönberg, Alain Boubil, and Jean-Marc Natel wrote the very first stage script for Les Misérables (previously in French). Created from Victor Hugo’s late novel of the identical title, Les Mis was adapted and turned into a theater play performed as a fully sung-through show, which was monumental in that time period.

Counting all its tours since its creation in 1980, Les Misérables is actually the longest-running stage play of all time.

With almost 4 decades in West End on its own and not even listing its productions in other countries, especially its sold-out shows on Broadway, it is with certainty that Les Mis endures and is impressive in the viewpoint of the play's fanbase.
