My Favorite Murder is going on the road in 2025! Your favorite true crime podcast, hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, will feature this version in front of fans, where they tell true stories about some of the most compelling crimes that you've likely never heard of.
All of the elements that make the podcast entertaining are going to be present in this live show. The commentary works to ensure that you're on the edge of your seat, particularly in the darkest moments of the story. You get to be a part of the fun on this live tour with My Favorite Murder. If you know how the podcast works, that can really get exciting. In each episode, both Karen and Georgia pick a story that they want to talk about. The premise of the show is that one will have the research done and will be able to narrate the story to the audience. Meanwhile, the other one provides questions and commentary, that's where the comedy bits come in! At the live experience, you in the audience are going to have a chance to offer your commentary as well. Both Karen and Georgia will be relating the stories directly to the crowd and then welcoming audience interaction.
This thermometer can vary per person! It's kind of like the one they might have at wings spots to measure the heat on the sauce. Ultimately, it comes down to how many gruesome details you´re going to be able to stomach. However, there's the obvious comedy element to the show. Going back to the buffalo wings analogy, the comedy serves as the ranch dressing to take away some of the heat! It doesn't mean, though, that these stories won't pack a punch. Truth be told, most people are looking to get at least a little bit freaked out with these stories.
Usually, the experienced theater goer knows that you don't want to be too close to the stage because you risk having to look up at the performers all of the time. In this case, though, being closer to Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark means a better chance of interacting with them directly.
