Guitarist Cory Wong has done exemplary work as a solo artist, a collaborator, and as a member of American funk band The Fearless Flyers. He has also recorded with Jon Batiste for the Grammy nominated new age effort, Meditations. In 2008, Cory Wong put a magnificent project together for the Cong Wong Quartet. Wong has released a total of 14 studio efforts, and another one titled Lost in the Wonder is slated for release. Wong is known for his highly versatile playing and has the ability to jump from one genre to another. Wong has done amazing work in funk, rock, classical, jazz, and R&B. Clean percussive and rhythmic playing has been his specialty since the beginning. His collaborations also allow him to explore and expand his artistry, making him one of the most innovative performers of his generation.
