Now, just about seven years later, and hot on the heels of his mammoth sold-out 2025 tour, Dermot Kennedy has released his third studio album The Weight Of The Woods, and announced a massive North American amphitheatre tour in support thereof. The The Weight Of The Woods tour is slated to kick off in early September 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with stops in Maryland Heights, Laval, Boston, Gilford, Forest Hills, Birmingham, Nashville, Phoenix, and Portland, among others, on the cards. The tour will be wrapping up at the end of October 2026 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dermot Kennedy will be joined at the iconic Paramount Theatre Seattle by American singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen as special guest. Jonah Kagen is the songcrafter behind the Billboard Alternative Airplay charter God Needs The Devil, and other hits such as Save My Soul and Moon.
