Many long-time fans of Neil Diamond still remember when his 1976 album, A Beautiful Noise, first dropped. Hit Broadway musical celebrating Neil Diamond, is now coming to to Seattle for several premiers at the legendary Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington this winter.
The exciting performance delighted audiences from the very beginning with a mesmerizing Broadway show and catchy songs. The production follows the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, opening in the present day with Westenberg inside in a therapist’s office. As Diamond, he explains how he can no longer make music like he used to while the doctor helps him navigate the trials brought by this reality throughout A Beautiful Noise. The production goes back to Diamond's childhood days, examining his introduction to music and all the good and bad times since then, including his rise to stardom and struggle with depression. But, what long-time Diamond lovers anticipate most is re-experiencing Diamond’s catalog of hits in the Neil Diamond Musical.
This magnificent two-hour-and-15-minute adventure comprises two acts, the first ending with the beloved number Sweet Caroline, followed by a 15-minute intermission. After restocking on refreshments, rejoin the show for another hour of beautiful songs and engaging performances.

A Beautiful Noise is led by lauded veteran director Michael Mayer and features a highly praised book by BAFTA Award-winning writer Anthony McCarten.
With waves of entrancing songs, dance, and theatrics, this jukebox musical depicts the exclusive off-stage anecdotes of Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Neil Diamond.
The singer himself strictly collaborated with the production to preserve its genuineness, staunchly championing awareness for mental health with a narrative framed through Neil’s therapy sessions. Avid fans are also in for a thrilling surprise as the musical exhibits many of his most influential songs, such as “Cracklin' Rosie,” “Cherry, Cherry,” and “Forever in Blue Jeans.”
Featured in A Beautiful Noise’s brilliant cast are lead actors Nick Fradiani and Mark Jacoby, who’ll be performing the parts of a young and old Neil Diamond. Alternating, the two will interpret the subtleties of the singer-songwriter's personas on and off the stage, uncovering intriguing new angles from his days of youth in Brooklyn to his record-setting rise to stardom.
