This year, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a slew of new dates for its IN CONCERT shows. This fall, the film & orchestra experience will be visiting 80+ cities around the world, bringing the most memorable scenes and its iconic musical score to life. Expect beautiful symphonies filling the air as your favorite scenes from the acclaimed show’s three seasons play on the big screen.

A chronicle of Aang’s heroic journey of attempting to take down Fire Lord Ozai together with Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, it’s all in hopes of achieving balance with the Fire Nation again. As the iconic intro goes, “Water, Fire, Earth, Air… These four nations lived together in harmony, until the fire nation attacked.”

A classic story that ignited everyone’s childhood, Avatar: The Last Airbender has been hailed as one of Nickelodeon’s best shows to have ever aired. Recognized to be one of the highlights of television’s golden age, the show was consistently praised by critics for its music, characters, and beautiful storyline. 

ABOUT THE MUSIC

This IN CONCERT experience brings justice to Avatar’s celebrated music. Composed and arranged by the Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, it’s bound to be a musical spectacular that surely won’t disappoint. “Some of these compositions are over 20 years old. It didn’t occur to me then that the music would be so enduring,” Zuckerman shared with Variety.

“It is deeply gratifying to see Jeremy Zuckerman’s incredible music from the original series get the epic treatment we always knew it deserved,” Bryan Konietzko, co-creator of Avatar, told Variety.

Sharing how it was once a dream to see his compositions performed by an orchestra, Zuckerman’s masterpieces are now getting the grand treatment it truly deserves. 

“Since the concert launched in 2024, the tour has played over 200 shows, and sold 400.000 tickets worldwide, which is a rare milestone that reflects just how deeply this series continues to resonate with fans of all ages,” said Floris Douwes of GEA Live and Ollie Rosenblatt of Senbla.
