It’s been twenty years since Cat Power released her milestone seventh studio album The Greatest - her first album to only feature original music. The Greatest was her highest charting album at the time, making its debut in the 34th position on the Billboard 200. The album also won Cat Powers a Shortlist Music Prize, making her the first woman to achieve this honor. 

'The Greatest' Tour

Coming hot on the heels of the much anticipated release of Cat Power’s new EP Redux, featuring covers of James Brown’s Try Me, Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 U, and a reimagining of her own Could We, Cat Power and her band is slated to hit the road on an anniversary tour that will see them perform The Greatest in full. 'The Greatest’ Tour is kicking off towards the end of January 2026 in Houston, Texas, criss-crossing the nation before wrapping up in mid-March 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee, after which they will be heading across the ocean for more performances.
