His massively successful specials “Guess How Much” and “Good Deal” have made him a renowned name in the stand-up comedy circuit. Back for another round of side-splitting fun, his new tour is expected to share new material that’ll share his BIG & TALL energy.

In November 2024, “Interior Chinatown” premiered on Hulu starring Yang as Willis Wu. Scoring 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, the website’s summary of critic reviews share “Adapting its satirical source material to imperfect but thrilling effect, Interior Chinatown is freewheeling entertainment with plenty to say about Asian-American stereotypes in media.”

About the project, Yang previously shared that he wanted to show a different side of himself. Though most of his roles gives an impression that he’s all fun and games, Interior Chinatown shows his capability to take on serious roles — and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

“I want to do something that's meaningful to me, to the community, something that's subverting expectations,” he told GQ, sharing that he wrote an email to his agents back in 2021. “I want to kick ass in something without anybody laughing. I want to die in something without it being funny.”
