Josh Johnson's doing a lot of three-day benders on his Comedy Band Camp Tour. One of his three-day stops is going to take place at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The Daily Show alum has turned into one of the most recognizable faces of the current cast. He's even the lead during some of the weekday shows when the boss, Jon Stewart, isn't in-house. With his background, you know what's coming your way on November 20th. It's a mix of political comedy, social commentary, and with Josh Johnson, an unfiltered set of him telling it like it is. We're going to keep it real here, just like Josh Johnson does on stage. There's a good chance that the Comedy Band Camp Tour 2026 is going to feature a longer lineup of comedians to accompany Johnson. At the time of writing, those names have not been revealed. How sad would it be, though, to name your tour after "Band Camp" and have it just be you on stage? That's probably not something that Josh Johnson's gonna be doing. These stops in Seattle are shaping up to be a bundle of fun; it's really in your best interest not to miss this performance.
Keep in mind that Josh Johnson's day job is at The Daily Show. Why is this relevant? These guys are used to coming up with bits day after day. That means that the set that he'll bring to Seattle might not be the same one that he uses for other stops on this tour. People are expecting up-to-date commentary on something newsworthy and the world of politics at large. Whatever is relevant today might not be as engaging to crowds on November 20th. This set promises to be as thought-provoking as it is funny. That's not something you get from your average comedy night
The front of the theater is best for hecklers or anyone looking to impress a date. There's no shame in that, of course. If you fall into any of these two categories, you know where you need to be. However, if you're looking for a more laid-back experience while potentially finding a good deal on tickets, the upper level at this venue could be ideal. We're just saying there's a reason Abraham Lincoln was sitting in a box on that fateful night. That's where the rich and powerful used to enjoy shows.
