THE LOCKET TOUR

The Grammy-nominated and platinum-selling hitmaker behind the songs “Dear Society,” “Home with You,” “Reckless,” “Selfish,” “Make You Mine,” and more—just announced THE LOCKET TOUR in support of her third studio LP “Locket.” Featuring her new single “Yes Baby” + her first-ever entry on the Billboard Hot 100, “Bittersweet,” this record marks the biggest era in her career. Critics have even called it her “pop breakthrough,” as described by Rolling Stone. While she’s always impressed listeners with her infectious pop energies, captivating storytelling, and relatable tales, this new album takes her craft to the next level.

ABOUT LOCKET

While Madison Beer’s been in the pop scene for over a decade now, she first took over the scene when Justin Bieber discovered her YouTube covers and shared them on his Twitter page. Since then, she began making music of her own, gaining platinum singles and headed out to jam-packed tours. It’s quite a surprise that “Bittersweet” off of her new LP a decade into her career is actually her first single on the Hot 100. Rolling Stone describes the track as “a plush, post-breakup cut that whipsaws through the stages of post-relationship grief with a generous clarity.”

With dreamy melodies and relatable tales of young love, it’s easy to see why her music is able to connect with her fans in such a powerful way. Recognizing sadness, expressing emotional maturity, and letting go, it’s a full-circle anthem that perfectly illustrates the way the album, as a whole, tackles love and all the strings that tangles the soul.

“Both the album and the accessory it’s named after feel like a vessel for her memories. locket holds all the experiences she’s had that make the project what it is now,” Rolling Stone shared.

“I think the album has such duality—there are songs that are upbeat but still emotional… It’s a real rollercoaster,” Madison Beer shared with Vogue.

With ethereal energies and emphasized attention to detail, Locket was written and co-produced by Beer herself. “I definitely wanted to lean into that sort of whimsical feeling that I feel like I captured with songs like “Reckless” in the past,” she shared while recognizing the need to evolve from such patterns. Writing raw emotions and not wanting to go too hard, “It was such a part of my every waking moment—the good days, the bad days, the break-up—so a lot of it really wrote itself.”

All in all, we’ve got a spot-on record that encapsulates the very soul of Madison Beer’s emotions, life, and artistry.
