The singers-songwriter from Boston released her debut effort Poppy.Computer in 2017. Highly experimental in nature, Poppy mixed a variety of sounds with hard rock and heavy metal. Her first two albums were self released before she signed with Sumerian Records in 2020. I Disagree, her first global charting album was released. The album, which featured hit single, “Bloodmoney,” peaked at number 2 on the UK Rock chart. In 2024, Poppy went full conventional metal, whilst maintaining a bit of her penchant for experimental music and worked with Jordan Fish to release Negative Spaces. This partnership went on to continue until the release of her latest album, Empty Hands. Poppy has been nominated in the Grammys twice for Best Metal Performance and scored a number of magazine awards. She has also done several notable television appearances including Jimmy Kimmel Live.
