In 1985, Gordie Lachance comes across a newspaper article about the death of his childhood best friend, looking back at Labor Day weekend in 1959 when he was 12. Hearing about Vern's older brother about finding a missing body out of town, Chris, Teddy, and Vern decide to look for the missing boy themselves, hoping to become local heroes. With plenty of misadventures, it's a journey that touched hearts, sharing the vibes of youth.
