Disney’s The Lion King came on to the Broadway scene with a distinctive technique; critics say that the show, since its premiere, had utilized new elements that were unusual in old theater and transformed into more than the usual adaptation. With its execution and blend of dance, costume, and especially 3D puppetry, it grew to a very distinct performance rivaling to numerous others.
