“Glorious! A dazzling marvel of stagecraft. This production sparks to stunning life” – Entertainment Weekly
A young man named Pi Patel experiences a shipwreck. His father’s ship contains animals supposed to accompany them to Canada for a new start. But fate had other plans. In the midst of this great disaster, Pi managed to escape to a lifeboat but he’s not alone. The boat contains a few wild animals, and the most dangeous of them all is the Bengal tiger, which Pi calls Richard Parker. The tiger saves Pi’s life by killing the spotted hyena that was about to eat Pi. However, in order not to stir the large beast, Pi decides to find refuge on a raft tethered to the boat. Meanwhile, the tiger accidentally jumps into the water to catch a fish. Will Pi let the dangerous animal drown? Find out by catching Life of Pi at the Paramount Theatre Seattle!
