British rock band IDLES are gearing up for a world tour this upcoming year. They’re hitting cities around the world, including places in North America, Europe, and even Asia! More importantly though, they’re stopping right in Seattle, Washington. If you’re one of the fans who’ve been patiently waiting for this tour to happen, this is finally your chance! IDLES will take on the stage at the Paramount Theatre Seattle on Tuesday, the 7th of May, 2024. In February 2024, they will be releasing their fifth studio album, ‘Tangk.’ So, you can definitely expect the band to play some of their newest material, including the single ‘Dancer.’ Now, gear up and mark your calendars!

Hold onto your seats because IDLES is going global this next year! The band's unleashing a musical storm with a massive world tour in Spring 2024 - and they’re heading to Seattle, Washington. The British punk rock band are taking their act to the next level, and you better be ready for the chaos they're about to bring. The tour is not holding back - covering major cities in Europe, the US, UK, Ireland, and even making a pitstop in Mexico. It's a global punk rock experience!
This upcoming trek is all in support of their fifth studio album, 'Tangk.' It’s dropping on February 16 via Partisan - be sure to stream it. Tlead single, 'Dancer,' featuring none other than James Murphy and Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem, just dropped this October. In an interview with NME, IDLES frontman Joe Talbot said: “When I started this album, I said to Bowen: ‘I want to make people dance, I want people to feel the love that I need in my life, I want to make people move, I want our music to be infectious again – and I want it to be infectious in a way that makes people feel, not think. I want to feel part of something electric again’”
He continued: “I wanted to elaborate and transgress from 2021’s ‘CRAWLER’, which was the start of something new for us. When something feels as electric as ‘CRAWLER’ did, I just wanted to continue it and to evoke a sense of purpose with what we are as musicians.”
March 2024 kicks off the European leg. The band’s hitting cities like Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, and more, before wrapping up in Germany and Sweden. They’re beginning their North American trek in May 2024, gracing cities like Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, and beyond.
Come July, IDLES will return to the UK, making stops in Cardiff, Halifax, Margate, and Cornwall. September brings them back to the US for an East Coast rampage in Asheville, Atlanta, Chicago, and more. Then, it's off to Mexico for shows in Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City.
November takes them to Ireland with shows in Belfast and Dublin, followed by UK stops in Glasgow, Nottingham, Newcastle, and the grand finale at London's Alexandra Palace. The tour wraps up in December with shows in Brighton and Birmingham - culminating in two epic nights at the O2 Apollo in Manchester.
