Making his dream come true, Peso Pluma is finally touring North American cities, and fans have gone ecstatic with excitement. The hitmaker will be bringing his “The Double P” tour to 17 stops, starting with the YouTube Theater on July 20th and making his way to the final destination in Anaheim at the Honda Center on October 20th. Although relatively new to the scene, Pluma has already done the impossible by charting several of his songs on the Billboard Charts and becoming Mexico's most in demand artist on streaming service Spotify. For this part of the trek, the new king of Latin music will be making a stop at the Paramount Theatre Seattle on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Grab your tickets right this second before someone else does because, with talent this hot, they are bound to sell out. Click the “GET TICKETS” button before it is too late.
Peso Pluma has become one of those over night success stories that his name is starting to become recognized all over the world. Interestingly, after hearing Mexican boxer Marco Antonio Barrera say that Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija's physique was similar to that of many featherweight boxers, the artist decided to take the name for himself, and thus Peso Pluma was born. In Spanish the name actually translates to "featherweight." a term used in boxing divisions.
Amazingly, he taught himself to play guitar by watching YouTube tutorials on the internet, despite coming from a non-artistic background in his family. Like many artists, he drew inspiration from his personal life which he penned down in his diary; those words would then translate into the insightful lyrics that fans would come to love and adore.
The musician had a two-year struggle as he navigated the music industry, but he was determined to make it big in America and eventually did. His discography features both his debut album (2020's "Ah y Qué?") and his sophomore effort (2021's "Efectos Secundarios"). Since then, he's become one of the most popular musicians in Mexico, surpassing even Bad Bunny in terms of Spotify listeners, and his single "Por Las Noches" has charted on the Billboard Hot 100 alongside four other songs.
His 2022 single El Belicón, which featured Ral Vega, sold over 480,000 copies in the US and was certified 8x platinum, making it his biggest hit and best-selling song to date. Game recognizes game, and as such, this remarkable individual has already collaborated with Becky G, Marshmello, and Nicki Nicole, and he shows no signs of slowing down.
Pluma has established himself as one of the hottest Latin musicians in the world, so much so that his music is constantly being played on viral Tik Toks and everyone really enjoys creating awesome choreography to it. Because of his prominence and the large number of people who want to see him perform, tickets will likely go quickly. Get your hands on a set ASAP so as to avoid dissatisfaction.
